IKEA faces criticism for font change

International retailer IKEA is facing a global backlash from customers and design aficionados after changing its font from a customized version of Futura to Verdana. In addition to aesthetic complaints, some branding experts believe the new font, especially when enlarged on stores and billboards, could harm the company’s brand image.
