Safety Components, Greenville, S.C., producer of tent and awning materials, announces that WeatherMaxTM FR has met the fire retardant specifications of California State Fire Marshall Title 19. Made of SaturaMax yarns, WeatherMax FR is a flame resistant fabric for outdoor applications where fade resistance is critical. It is guaranteed to retain its color for at least five years, and is appropriate for applications where a woven fabric instead of vinyl is preferred.
