Designers use digital graphics for a good cause

Inspired by a trip to New York City, Dutch designers Peggy van Neer and Erik van Loo created this cotton duvet and matching pillow cases to look like a folded-open cardboard box. Named Le Clochard after the French word for bum, a large portion of its proceeds will be donated to housing projects and organizations that help get youth off the street and back into school. So by sleeping under a cardboard box, you can help a homeless youngster out from under one.

The duvet features a photographic print of a cardboard box and is made of pure soft cotton, which produces an extremely sharp image that stays flexible because the ink is printed directly in the cotton. Stork Reactive ink is used on a Stork Tourmaline digital textile printer.
