The producers of Sustainable Planet have announced that Ultraflex Systems, Randolph, N.J., is featured in an episode of the television show’s series on environmental impact. Ultraflex has developed a way to render PVC products subject to decomposition at rates usually attributed to organic substances.

BIOflex is a PVC-based material that is manufactured with a patented biodegradable formula. This formula can be constructed or applied to most standard flexible PVC products, and is ideal for outdoor billboards, vehicle wraps, and building wraps. BIOflex begins to degrade in a landfill within a few weeks; in three to five years, all that remains is a microscopic amount of non-toxic particles. See www.ultraflexsystems.com.
