Mimaki printer cutter line incorporates licensed Gerber technology

Gerber Scientific Inc. has announced that the newly released Mimaki CJV-30 series integrated printer cutter line incorporates licensed technology from Gerber Scientific. In the fiscal fourth quarter of 2008, Gerber granted a worldwide license to Mimaki Engineering Company Limited.

The license represented the second nonexclusive license Gerber has granted for its family of computerized “print-to-cut” technology patents. Gerber granted the first license to another leading Japanese printer manufacturer earlier this year. See www.mimakiusa.com, www.gerberscientific.com.
