Sawgrass and Mimaki enter license agreement

Sawgrass Technologies Inc., Charleston, S.C., and Mimaki Engineering Co. Ltd. of Japan have entered into a license agreement under which Mimaki will sell inks for sublimation imaging. Mimaki president Akira Ikeda says, “We intend to offer our own ink technology as a compliment to our printer systems so that customers have bundled solutions.” Mimaki Engineering develops inkjet printers and cutting plotters for professional use.
