Westar Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo., has just released new test results. The Color Strength Comparative Analysis measured three leading sublimation ink brands against Westar Systems’ Vibrant Wide Format (VWF) sublimation ink. VWF ink proved to have 18 percent to 31 percent more color strength. Westar is licensed to distribute sublimation ink for use on Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh, or Roland printers wider than 42 inches.

The inks were tested at a European ISO facility using ink coverages from 10 percent to 100 percent. The net result is that VWF’s color strength significantly out-performed three leading inks by significant percentages, according to Rich Benner, Westar president.
