Cooley named 2011 Manufacturer of the Year

The Rhode Island Manufacturers Association recognizes one of its 300 member businesses each year for demonstrated growth and significant contributions to the community. Cooley Group of Pawtucket, R.I., won 2011’s John Hazen White Sr. Commitment to Manufacturing Award.

Cooley Group, manufacturer of high-performance commercial fabrics based on sustainable chemistry, has been in business for 85 years. The award was accepted by Cooley Group chairman P. Robert Siener Jr., who has worked for the company since 1947.
